It all started with a pile of pre-bent tubing and a print from Jerry Bickel Racecars. At that point it only needed to be cut to length, notched and welded in place. Sounds easy doesn't it?

The first thing that needed to be done was converting a stockcar jig to something that would work for a drag car.

When the chassis started to resemble a racecar it was time to start hanging the body.   The boxsides, quarter panels and roof are all factory GM steel. The doors, hood and front fenders are from Hairy Glass.

It took quite a bit of cutting and splicing to obtain the wheelbase to meet NHRA Pro Stock Truck specifications.   That's Marv's Camaro in the background.

Isn't that body filler a wonderful color?

This was just the beginning, we still needed to add the engine, transmission and the other components necessary to make it go down the track. Keep checking back. We'll add more pictures from time to time.
